Every relationship in the expedition names one of these. A striking resemblance is not a documented influence; a meeting is not an influence; a story the game invents is labeled as invented.

The Mythos Engine is reusable: packs of subjects, sources, claims, relationships, chronology, and challenges, played through any presentation. This first pack opens through a film; later packs can cover other mythologies, historical narratives, suspense, or comedy without changing the engine.
